Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between David Ramirez, doing business as RelayReef ("RelayReef", "we") and the business that uses RelayReef ("you"). By signing up for RelayReef or using it, you agree to them for your business, and you confirm that you can agree for it.

What RelayReef is

RelayReef is software for running a small business: clients, scheduling and online booking, invoices and payments, messages to customers, a website, and RelayAI. What your plan includes is on our Plans page.

Your account

• You're responsible for what happens under your account, including what your team does with the sign-ins you give them.
• Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us at support@relayreef.com if you think someone else has them.
• You must be at least 18.

Plans, the free trial and billing

• Plans are charged in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, at the price shown on the Plans page.
• Prices don't include sales tax. We add it where the law requires.
• A business that signs up on relayreef.com gets a 14-day free trial. Your card is taken when you sign up and first charged when the trial ends. We email you before then. Cancel before the trial ends and it's never charged.
• Text and email packs, add-ons and other extras are charged when you buy them, to the card on file.
• If we change a plan's price, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you.
• If a payment fails, we'll tell you. If it stays unpaid, we may suspend your account until it's paid.

Cancelling

• You can cancel your plan any time in Settings. No refund is issued for the time left: you keep full access until the end of the period you paid for, and then your account is suspended.
• After your plan ends, we keep your data for 90 days, so you can come back or ask us for a copy. Then we delete it, except what the law makes us keep, such as billing records.

Custom websites

A custom website is a one-time charge for a website we build for your business, separate from any plan. If you ask for your money back before we start building your website, we refund all of it. Once we have started building, it is not refundable.

Your content and your customers

• What you put into RelayReef stays yours: your words, photos and files, and your customers' details. You let us store, copy and show it only as needed to run RelayReef for you.
• You're responsible for having the right to what you upload and publish, and for what your website says about your business.
• Your customers' details are yours to decide about. We handle them for you as our Privacy Policy says. We don't sell them, and we don't use them for anything else.
• Texts and emails you send through RelayReef must follow the law, including having your customers' permission where it's needed.

Health information

RelayReef isn't made for patients' health information, the kind HIPAA protects, and we don't sign business associate agreements. Don't keep or send that information in RelayReef: no diagnoses, treatments or medical records in client notes, forms, messages or files.

Payments you take

Payments from your customers go through your own Square or Stripe account, under that company's terms. We aren't a party to those payments. Refunds and disputes are between you, your customer and that company.

RelayAI

RelayAI uses AI to write and to suggest. It can be wrong, so check what it writes before you use it or send it. Before it changes anything in your business, it asks you to confirm. It uses points, which your plan includes each month.

What you may not do

Don't use RelayReef to break the law, send spam, publish anything harmful or that you don't have the rights to, get into accounts or data that aren't yours, test our security without our written permission, overload the service, or resell it.

Our part

• We work to keep RelayReef running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted or never have errors.
• We may change and improve features. If we take away something your plan relies on, we'll tell you first.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and we'll tell you why unless the law or someone's safety stops us.

Limits on our liability

RelayReef is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or lost profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you before the change applies, and the date at the top will change. Using RelayReef after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
